yes i started with 1/2" and then opened a little.
after live fire testing will seal it all.
i found pics of funnels...NONE IN STOCK
and cut based on the internal shape of those funnels
my action now drops a dasher case out the bottom.
some clean up and cosmetic work to do.
se there is an advantage to a 67 vw...no electronics.....
as far as scrubbing use body temp water to prevent skin pores from closing on debris.
twinkies rule
so this is a 6mm dasher drop port, borden brmxd .
so how big is the outlet in the bottom of the stock ?
just copy the action port
bigger than the port, how so ?
smaller than the action port ??

It was a practical session in the psychology class. The professor showed a large cage with a male rat in it.
The rat was in the middle of the cage.
Then, the professor put a piece of cake on...
ya need to chamfer the case necks and they are probably too small, and too hard
so i did as i said, i lined up the 2 stocks as best i could and drilled two 257 holes.
i then took the new stock and laid out a center line. it shows the forward hole is off about 0.010.

the pillars in the old stock have an F hole(257).
the pillars are my drill bushings
but to be real clear if they quit making it yesterday, and you want it inlet tommorrow too bad..

so, i have one inlet stock, fully bedded to the same basic action.
i think this provides a tool to guide the location of the action screws.
once those 2 holes are in place i have ref points for...
and in this case i disagree with yours.
opinion or not inletting has been part of their day to day biz...until now
moving on
i have a masterclass stock as well..bought from alex.
but i think he has gone to wood only...and then there is the distance...he aint close.
thanks
well there is always two sides to a story
i am local to mcm, and they have inlet several of their stocks for me.
BUT
I BOUGHT A WHEELER/MCMILLIAN LRB STOCK AND MCM WILL NOT INLET IT.
they stopped...
I CAN do a pattern/layout based on the first stock,
remove a ton of material with just down cuts
my big concern is getting it all straight/inline with the stock
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
if you look in the back..it clearly says the brand that was listed....the building in the back is a generator...for the charging station for the ev\s
so i have a mcmillian.wheeler lrb stock that has no inletting.
mcmillian has done them in the past but now refuses.
neither of my 2 local gunsmiths will do the inletting
the good news is i own an...
