Thumbs up VFS 100/200 Match @ Lake Charles, La Sun 5-23

    FYI

VFS 100/200 match this Sun 5-23 at the Southwest La Rifle and Pistol Range.

    Directions to range,

Take I-10 (east of town) to State Route 397 (East Ward Line Road) head

south till you come to SR 14 (Gerstner Memorial) make a left and head east

for a mile or so and pass Chalkley. SR14 will then turn south and after a mile

or so turn into SR27. Stay on SR27 for about 1/4 mile till you come to

Old Camp Road and make a right and the entrance to the range will be on your right.

    Tip;

Go to Google maps or Mapquest and plug in SR 27 and Old camp Road. Click on the

satellite view to get a better look at the range.

I hope Ed Bernabeo will go over as well. The last Match over there it was 30 below zero, and we chickened out.........jackie

Good for you. Good luck down there. You ought to be well tuned up for the Tomball club match.

I am going to Stephenville to shoot the LSSO next weekend.

    Then on to Tomball.

    Loading

I am sitting in my Hotel Room in Lake Charles, getting ready for tommorrows Match.

I just finished pre-loading 100 rounds. Might as well make good use of the time. The desk clerk gave me some puzzled looks as I was taking my Loading Table into the room.

I have never pre-loaded for a Grand Agg. I guess I will see what happens. This load had worked quite well at several Matches.

    I always have the tuner..........jackie

It would appear from what I read elsewhere on BC that the pre-loading did not work too bad.

    Congratulations
