Smooth bore. I found that Wendy’s straws had the best barrel life. Pretty accurate too if you get the spitball diameter just right.
Not surprising to us at all... but I do get why people want to see these.
One thing I’m curious about, only because I haven’t been shooting long enough to know... has there been an increase in...
Here it is...
Amazon has been fine, as long as they’re the ones delivering. All my packages through the post office the last 3 weeks have been delayed severely.
I have not received the December issue either. I have packages that have been in transit by the USPS since November 10th as well. I’m sure everything will show up.
If one were buying a Bat action, do you feel that a chromoly action offers any advantages over a melonite/nitride finished 17-4 action?
Thanks for sharing Calvin.
Such terrible news. I got to meet him for the first time at this years NBRSA group nationals. He had his bore scope out and I asked him if he could take a look at my bore and he said “sure bring it...
I’m pretty sure notes were taken.
I’d suggest calling or emailing the director. Please and thank you’s also go a long way.
I like these targets from Orville Printing Co.
Call to order. Tell them you want Jim Casey 5x8 100yd practice targets.
I’ll second Ratigan’s book and of course Boyer’s.
It should be in the Nov edition of Precision Rifleman.
Both of course.
Yes and thanks... I had a great time.
I hope things improve by next spring. I really missed the WWCCA matches this year.
Here are the 2-gun results.
That’s unfortunate. Was really hopeful Shelby Co. would be a go.
This is EXACTLY what I was hoping to learn from this thread. I might be in the market for a benchrest 22 in the coming years and would love to know what separates this action from the others used by...
I’m told they make it light enough to make LV but I don’t have the exact weight.
I’m curious about these myself.
Euro Optic, and that’s gotta be the best deal going right now for a light benchrest scope.
I would also suggest looking at a used Sightron 45x if your client wants to stay in that $700ish range....
Hunter,
I’m located in SW Ohio and I’m more focused on group matches at the moment. To me, the hassle of packing and unpacking, plus travel, isn’t worth it for a single day match.
If we’re talking about short range group, I like the idea of having a moving backer. Also, not saying the non registered matches don’t have great shooters present, but I want to learn from and shoot...
Thanks for the update!
IR50/50 sounds fun. I notice the schedule only shows matches in VA and WV. Are there any in Ohio?
lol. yep... he shot the video himself last night. Uncensored. Too hot for TV!
