Sign-up for upcoming tournaments.
Central Utah Benchrest Shooters will be hosting NBRSA group benchrest tournaments at the Pacific States Shooting Club near Springville, Utah. The range is located a short distance up Hobble Creek Canyon. See the "Directions" link, below, for a map and directions to the range.
The range has ten benches, so with three relays we will be limited to 30 competitors. We will rotate 5 benches at the yardage change. We will typically shoot 100 yards on Saturday and 200 yards on Sunday. The benches now have concrete tops even though the pictures still show the old steel tops.
Entry fee is $30 per day or $50 per weekend-tournament. Junior competitors (LESS than 18 years of age) will pay ½ entry fee. All competitors must be registered NBRSA members and display their current membership card at registration (membership will be available at sign-up, currently $40 per year).
If at all possible, we ask that you let us know in advance if you are planning to attend. Please include any requests to share benches for those who are sharing equipment, and let us know of any special needs. We will do our best to accommodate your wishes, but it is easier if we know well in advance.
There is no water or power at the range. Porta-Johns are available. We will supply drinking water, and lunch will be available (typically $5 per day) on registered tournament days (check this site for update before the match).
The range will be open the Friday before registered tournaments for practice.
Camping is allowed, but is very primitive. The range may be locked at night but there will be a person on site with a key. Please let us know if you plan to arrive late (or very early). There are private and forest service campgrounds not far away

Where noted on the schedule, we will allow matches to be open to all classes. What this means is that if we are holding a SP/UN tournament, a competitor could choose to shoot SP/HV, LV/HV, LV/LV, or any other combination of classes. When a competitor is shooting a class other than the scheduled class, that competitor is not eligible for any awards, but would be eligible for any records shot. Entry fee is the same. In order to take advantage of this feature, the competitor MUST mark his intent on the registration form and have it initialed by the registration officer. If this is not done, the competitor may be disqualified.
