These are made in Rorschach carbide dies. The design is a flat base hollowpoint with a seven caliber ogive. Available in two weights: The 52g., made on the J-4 .705" length jacket, is the accuracy standard and the most popular. The 60g., made on the J-4 .800" length jacket, is sometimes used in larger capacity cases or quicker twist barrels for longer range shooting. For maximum accuracy in your .22, try some Fowler Bullets. |

These are made in Rorschach carbide dies. The design is a flat base hollowpoint with a seven caliber ogive. Available in four weights: The 63g.,made on the J-4 .750" length jacket, is a fairly popular benchrest bullet, particularly in guns with short-throated chambers, and also with varmint hunters seeking extreme velocity. The 66g., made on the J-4 .825" length jacket, is far and away my most popular bullet, the one that has won so many trophies and set the majority of the world records shot with FowlerBullets. The 68g., also made on the J-4 .825" jacket, is another winning benchrest bullet, often employed by savvy varmint hunters. The 80g., made on the J-4 .900" length jacket, is primarily used in longer range hunting rifles, particularly those with 12 twist barrels, for which it is optimum. If you own a 6mm rifle, you'll never know how good it shoots until you try some Fowler Bullets in it. |

These are made in Simonson carbide dies. The design is a flat base hollowpoint with a nine caliber ogive and the small (.045") point. This is a streamlined shape with a very high ballistic coefficient compared to other .25 cal. bullets on the market. Available in two weights: The 85g., made on the J-4 .940" length jacket, is a wonderfully accurate bullet for HunterClass benchrest, or for the smaller to medium capacity .25 varmint cartridges, or the slower twist barrels, or for maximum velocity in the larger cases. The 110g., made on the J-4 1.125" length jacket, truly shines at extreme ranges from the bigger cartridges. If you have a .25-06 or a .257 Improved and have never shot anything but factory bullets in it, you will be amazed at the difference in accuracy when you try some Fowler.25's in it. Remember, all the hype you read about "ultra explosive killing power" doesn't mean very much if you can't hit the critter in the first place. |

Like the .22 and the 6mm bullets, these are made in Rorschach carbide dies. I consider myself very lucky to have found a set of these dies, because they are extremely rare. Don Rorschach, who is considered by most to have produced the finest bullet dies ever made, is retired now due to an unfortunate accident, but I spoke to him recently about the dies. Don says that he made only a few sets of .30cal. dies, and most of these went to the military, leaving only a handful of them in civilian circulation. The design is a seven caliber ogive, flat base, hollow point, just like the .22 and 6mm, only bigger. The 115g. bullet is designed specifically for the BR-30 cartridge. The 125g. and 135g. are intermediate weights, used by both VFS and Hunter Class shooters. The 150g. is used mainly by Hunter Class shooters in the larger cases required by this class, as well as other disciplines of .30cal. shooting. If you want to find out how good your .30cal. barrel is, try some Fowler/Rorschach bullets in it. |
