Remington 513T

Would a 513T action be suitable for a 17HMR ?
Thanks !

I wouldn't

Bolt handle might not take the added pressures. You might be able to pick up an HMR cheaper than buying a barrel and having it fitted.

Wrong boltface and the mag will not work. 17M2 should work fine.

I actually have the 510 which has the single shot loading ramp.
My concern was if the bolt would handle the pressure.
The bolt face would have to be milled. I also worried about the extractors!
A Geen Mountain barrel was to be my choice.
I guess a 17m2 would be a much better choice.
Thanks guys for your inpute !!
Jim
