We held the 2nd match of the year yesterday, it was a score match at 200yds. The conditions were cool, mid 50s for the start with light winds for the warmup. That was subject to change pretty quickly once the match got underway. By match 3 the wind was blowing several different directions at the same time with a pretty decent amount of mirage added in and it went down hill from there. We had 13 shooters on the line, 12 vfs and 1modified. Jock Owing won vfs w/ a 258 score ,Steve Stanley got 2nd w/ a 256,Dale Avery was 3rd w 254. Daniel Small won modified w a 236. Dick Powers called the line and scored since he was on injuried reserve from shoulder surgery and did a good job. Thanks to all that helped setup, run and tear down the match. It is greatly appreciated. We shoot 100 yd group next month, come on out and shoot with us. Congrats to all that shot well.
