    Scopes?

When I was very young I looked at a spider under a microscope I got as a Christmas present. Never again. Have an irrational fear of spiders to this day.

    Sawdust bullet trap?

A corollary to this discussion is the old saying "why measure with a micrometer if you're going to mark it with a grease pencil and cut it with an ax?"

Luby,s Cafeterias.....you just lost my business.

It only takes once and you may never have another chance. But,as you say, it's your choice. It should also be everyone's choice.

Anyone Have a Nielson Neck Turner They Wish to Sell?

The Pumpkin. Slight correction, I only have one PMA not two. I do also have a Jaco that I picked up at a Shilen swap meet. If I had to rank the tuners I would do it this way. 1. Pumpkin 2. PMA 3. K&M 4. 21st Century 5. Jaco I put the Jaco last because I haven't used it so I can't really say...

Anyone Have a Nielson Neck Turner They Wish to Sell?

Could be he's got the patent and just doesn't want anyone else to use it. Here's a picture of some of Speedy's Pumpkins It could be that if you turn your cases this way, the Pumpkin lets you get a fistful to grip and do it fast.

Sad, Sad News -- Very Sad

Wilbur, my wife and I have been together for nearly 58 years and know we'll be experiencing what you are now, much sooner than later. I hope we'll face it with as much grace as you are.

First time neck turning.....please check if I did right......

Agree that he's way too far into the shoulder. I did that some years ago and had some necks stay in the chamber upon case extraction.

The holes on the back of the adapter I'm using are countersunk. So, i'll be drilling and tapping the back of the spider. The M8 1.25 30mm fit perfectly in the adapter and 30mm length on the screws will be just right. I hefted the four jaw last night and it's not that heavy, so I'll go ahead and...

I've ordered cases .22 ammo from them under that program. I buy a lot of stuff for AR's, 1911's. If you haven't visited their site for a while, they're even selling firearms. As with any of these dealers you gotta shop prices.

Yeah, I wanted to order something from MSC that cost about $10 and they wanted $12.95 shipping. Brownells has a shipping option called Edge. It costs 49.95 per year and that's it. It includes 2 day delivery. With this option I don't have to wait to build up and order to amortize the shipping...

The Grizzly spider mounted on a adapter will be much thinner than a four jaw chuck. I Think I've found a position where I can use the socket bolt holes on the back of the adapter to bolt through to the spider. The holes on the adapter appear to be M8. I bought three M8 1.25 30 bolts at Ace...

Helluva trick. You talked me into mounting the 4 jaw. Now I gotta get me another chuck key.

Yeah, I was thinking that. I think I was just trying to get away from mounting my four jaw chuck. Thanks

Took another look at the spider/adapter situation and think I can make it work. There are three holes on the back and near the edge of the adapter that appear to be for a 9mm socket head screw. I'm assuming those are to bolt on a chuck. As the spider is flat on both sides I'll machine off the...

    30br build?

I bought a 30 BR on a Teddy action at a gun show. I didn't ask or realize it was a 10.5 gun. I shot it a few times and then had a 30 BR chambered for my 6 ppc HV gun. Shooting the 30 BR in that light gun was somewhat punishing.
