Could be he's got the patent and just doesn't want anyone else to use it. Here's a picture of some of Speedy's Pumpkins It could be that if you turn your cases this way, the Pumpkin lets you get a fistful to grip and do it fast.

The holes on the back of the adapter I'm using are countersunk. So, i'll be drilling and tapping the back of the spider. The M8 1.25 30mm fit perfectly in the adapter and 30mm length on the screws will be just right. I hefted the four jaw last night and it's not that heavy, so I'll go ahead and...

The Grizzly spider mounted on a adapter will be much thinner than a four jaw chuck. I Think I've found a position where I can use the socket bolt holes on the back of the adapter to bolt through to the spider. The holes on the adapter appear to be M8. I bought three M8 1.25 30 bolts at Ace...

Took another look at the spider/adapter situation and think I can make it work. There are three holes on the back and near the edge of the adapter that appear to be for a 9mm socket head screw. I'm assuming those are to bolt on a chuck. As the spider is flat on both sides I'll machine off the...

I bought a 30 BR on a Teddy action at a gun show. I didn't ask or realize it was a 10.5 gun. I shot it a few times and then had a 30 BR chambered for my 6 ppc HV gun. Shooting the 30 BR in that light gun was somewhat punishing.
