My rear bag stabilizer was designed to sit underneath a Bald Eagle or Protector rear sand bag. It greatly reduces the rocking movement that inevitably results when the bottom of your sand bag becomes rounded.

It is molded from soft EPDM rubber which provides a nonslip connection between your rear sand bag and the shooting bench or whatever surface you are shooting from. It comes complete and ready to use. I have had the best results when I wet the bottom of my sand bag and then set it on the stabilizer until it is completely dry. The result is contact with the bag only on the outer edges where the stabilizer is thickest. This causes the rear sand bag to be far more solid and stable than just the sand bag alone. The stabilizer is 3/4" thick, 5" wide and 7" long.

If you are a competitive shooter in NBRSA registered matches then I must warn you that you may not be allowed to use it in your matches. Although I have it on good authority that it is on the agenda for the next NBRSA annual meeting for the purpose of making it legal for competition.
