Hunter stock

I have been shooting NBRSA score matches since 1995, and I have been to 5 NBRSA Nationals, and this rule has not been employed once in all those years. The only thing checked now is the weight of the rifle.
Last year during the front bag fiasco that started at a match in Texas, was resolved by the NBRSA board of Dirctors. The resolution included a new style of bag that minimizes contact with the bottom of the rifle, by providing 2 small ledges that the edge of the stock rides upon.
I am of the opinion that the convex rule has outlived its usefulness, and should be removed from the rule book.
